劇情大綱
【父後七日】改編自台灣目前最高獎金的文學獎──自由時報林榮三文學獎──2006年散文組首獎作品，由原著作者劉梓潔親自編導，資深影像工作者王育麟合導，由香港知名影星太保領銜主演。
本片描述女主角在父親過世的七天內，回到台灣中部農村，重新面對鄉里人情的質樸率真與迷信愚昧，並飽嚐台灣傳統葬儀的庸俗繁瑣。在緊湊密集的宗教儀式裡，對父親的回憶與思念，只能在非常難得的瞬間出現。
葬禮結束，女主角將喪父的傷逝打包封存，回到光鮮俐落的城市，卻偶然在香港機場吸煙室裡，對父親的思念排山倒海而來。煙霧瀰漫中，爸爸彷彿出現，坐在她身邊，父女兩人一同抽菸。而，爸爸，彷彿就是來告訴她，收拾好你的情緒，向前走吧！
